Obituary for Roy B. Guerrero Jr. Roy B. Guerrero Jr., born in Auburn, Washington on January 3, 1956, crossed over on December 5, 2025, at the age of 69. Roy’s life was filled with ups and downs, lessons and growth, love and redemption. For the last 29 years, beginning September 30, 1996, Roy lived a life of recovery—one rooted in service, compassion, and hope. He carried a 24-hour coin with him at all times, ready to give it to a newcomer at a meeting, gently reminding them, “You don’t have to use for a 24-hour period.” Roy had the most beautiful prayers for everyone who crossed his path. He spoke with people all over the world and lived by the belief he often shared: “Everyone I meet will have a special place in my heart that is yours and yours alone.” When Roy said “I love you,” he always followed it with the word “endless.” One day he explained why: “My love is endless, just like The Never-ending Story.” Roy found joy in simple moments—especially attending Sensitive Sunday Coffee at the coffee shop, where he laughed, connected, and shared his warmth freely. His heart was truly big and beautiful, and his presence made people feel seen, heard, and loved. Roy is preceded in death by his father, Roy B. Guerrero Sr.; his mother, Barbara J. Guerrero; and his brothers, Aaron Guerrero and Gregory Guerrero. He is survived by his loving sisters, Deborah Guerrero and CeCe Freeman, along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and even great-great nieces and nephews. Roy B. Guerrero Jr. is one of our ancestors now. His love remains endless, and his spirit lives on in all the lives he touched.
