Sealaska is pleased to welcome Heather Shá xat k’ei Gurko as our new Director of Shareholder Communications. She is Tlingit of the T’akdeintaan clan from the Freshwater-Marked Sockeye House in Hoonah. Heather brings extensive experience in community engagement, organizational leadership and communications. As a shareholder herself, in her new role she will ensure shareholder perspectives help guide Sealaska’s work and strengthen connections across communities.
