Sealaska Heritage Institute (SHI) invites interested candidates to apply for a vacancy on the SHI Board of Trustees (BOT).

Sealaska Heritage Institute is governed by a nine-member Board of Trustees, who are members of the Tlingit, Haida, and Tsimshian tribes and who provide policy direction and fiscal and programmatic oversight to ensure that SHI carries out its mission efficiently and responsibly.
Interested applicants shall provide a letter of interest outlining the following:
- Reasons why candidate is interested in serving on the BOT;
- Cultural affiliation and identification (Tlingit, Haida, Tsimshian);
- Expertise and experience; and
- Include a resume no longer than two pages.

It is important that we find the right candidate to fill this position, which is why the Sealaska board of directors is being as exacting as possible as we search for a candidate capable of amplifying the impact of our mission and providing benefits that empower our shareholders. Our hope is to announce a successful candidate as our new president this coming summer.
