Due to the current health mandates, this year’s annual meeting will take place virtually allowing shareholders to participate from wherever they are located. Shareholders are encouraged to log on to MySealaska.com to view the webcast.
The live webcast will begin at 12:30 p.m. AKDT featuring footage of Celebration from previous years. The 2020 annual meeting will gavel in at 1 p.m. AKDT.

One of the few remaining birth speakers of the Northern Haida dialect of Xaad kíl, Jane Kristovich (K’ujúuhl), joined her ancestors on August 18, 2021 at the age of 93. In a resolution adopted Friday, Oct. 30, Sealaska’s board of directors voted to add an additional $2.5 million to its scholarship endowment fund to meet the increased demand for support from students receiving postsecondary education on a part-time basis. Soboleff’s passing in early July created a vacancy on the thirteen-member board.
